We review our physical health regularly or at least we should!! As an employer, you should also review your compliance with employment law standards regularly. Of course, you should be meeting all minimum obligations including having up to date employment agreements for all employees and keeping wage and salary records.

Ensuring compliance with minimum standards is a key focus of the Government. However, many organisations want to be ahead of the curve and set themselves apart as an employer of choice. With the multiple changes to employment law in recent years (and more on the horizon this year) drafting policies that are robust and beyond minimum standards can feel challenging.

Morrison Kent is offering an employment health check to employers. We will partner with you to identify your organisation’s needs. If your goal is best practice or employer of choice we can advise steps to take to achieve that.

For a fixed rate we will:

  • Meet you either at your organisation or our offices;
  • Spend up to two hours with you to understand the needs of your organisation;
  • Provide on the spot guidance on what steps you need to take to, at least, be compliant; and
  • Provide a follow-up letter with the steps you need to take and fixed fee rates for us to undertake or assist you with any necessary work.

This will give you a clear pathway to employment health in 2019.
