Carolyn has been a litigation lawyer for more than 20 years. Her areas of practice include commercial and civil litigation and employment law, and she has a special interest in alternative dispute resolution.
Carolyn regularly represents clients in employment disputes, before disiplinary tribunals, at mediations and before the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court, and has taken appeals to the Court of Appeal. She also conducts other litigation in the District and High Courts over such matters as property disputes, franchise and breach of contract issues and insolvency.
Carolyn has been part of the firm since 1996, and prior to that she practised in Hamilton as a member of the litigation team at Tompkins Wake. She is a member of LEADR NZ and is a volunteer for both the Refugee and Migrant Service and the Wellington Community Law Centre.
