Experience
- Represented claimants before the Waitangi Tribunal in a number of inquiries beginning in 1999 with the Hauraki District Inquiry and more recently the Whanganui, Taihape, Porirua ki Manawatu, Te Rohe Potae and Te Paparahi o Te Raki (Northland) Inquiry Districts.
- Assisting Treaty of Waitangi claimants with all aspects of the presentation of claims before the Waitangi Tribunal including the preparation of evidence, submissions and claimant funding.
- Advising claimants during negotiations of Treaty of Waitangi claims with the Crown including the mandate process, commercial and cultural redress, deeds of settlement, ratification and the legislative process.
- Appeared before the High Court, Maori Land Court and District Court.
