Experience
Sarah has worked in the commercial property team since being admitted to the bar in 2001. Her expertise is in property transactions with a particular emphasis on financing & securities, sale & purchases of businesses and commercial property, leasing, subdivisions as well as private client services.
Sarah’s legal work has included acting:
- for the landowner on various substantial subdivisions and a 40 lot subdivision at Waimauku, various fee simple and unit title subdivisions, a complex unit title subdivision in Victoria Street, Hamilton; and
- for the purchaser on a purchase of commercial buildings in Auckland and Blenheim, involving assisting with due diligence investigations prior to purchase, advising on complex easements affecting the property, preparing all leasing documents and acting as Property Manager for the 15 tenancies; and
- on the purchase of a NZ$16.5m commercial building in Queen Street, Auckland, including analysing leasing documents for office, retail and residential tenants, advising on financing arrangements and selecting property managers.
